TOMM TOMM
Measuring Youth Movements

TOMM is a Software as a Service which allows organisations
that deliver health and welfare services to Young People to measure the outcomes of what they are doing.

Developed in a partnership between Kapiti Youth Support and digital agency Luvly, TOMM puts the Young Person at the centre and allows for reflective practise resulting in better use of resources, better outcomes and more Young People reaching their potential.

TOMM Director and KYS Manager Raechel Osborne (pictured with TOMM CEO Maggie Mouat, right) says “TOMM provides the ability to capture and safely share, in real-time, some or all records relating to a young person’s journey. It’s a game-changer.”

The Digital Café Digital Cafe
Learning on the job

The Digital Café founded by two former ad executives in 2016 was established to help give Victoria University marketing students an opportunity to get valuable paid business experience.

They provide SMEs with marketing services they can’t get elsewhere.

“SMEs are often ignored by bigger agencies, and are more suited to social and digital media campaigns anyway,” says Digital Café founder Antony Young (pictured with co-founder Matt McNeil left).

In just over 18 months they have helped over 60 businesses execute customised social and digital marketing, generating an annual turnover of $1.6 million.

MEVOMevo
Driving the message home
Mevo, Australasia's first free-floating car share business, launched in December 2016 with the aim of giving urban Kiwis a more attractive alternative to car ownership.

“Vehicle purchase is usually the second largest purchase people make in their life,” founder and CEO Erik Zydervelt (pictured with co-founder Finn Lawrence right) says. “Yet we use the car less than 5% of its lifetime and it depreciates ~40% a year. Car sharing makes much more sense.”

One car share can replace between 5 and 15 cars, hundreds of Wellingtonians are already on board, and Mevo’s gained support from Audi, Z Energy, Meridian Energy, Trade Me Insurance, WCC, and EECA, and achieved significant financial backing of more than $1.5 million.
